"The Bad Touch" is the first single by the Bloodhound Gang off their 1999 album Hooray for Boobies. It was released in 1999 internationally and, a year later, in the U.S. and UK. The song was also remixed by God Lives Underwater and Eiffel 65. The song’s video, shot during the summer of 1999, features the band dressed in "MonkeyRat" costumes with oversized ears, in various locations in Paris (including the Place de l’Estrapade, Avenue de Saxe, and Champ de Mars), and the Eiffel Tower is visible in many shots. During the video, the band uses blowguns to shoot tranquilizer darts into the buttocks of four passing young women who are dressed in black with short skirts and stockings, then carrying them away. They then use a fishing rod to dangle a croissant in front of a group of French chefs, enticing them to follow. The band members dance around for a few seconds and then lure three chefs into following them. The band members swallow several mealworms, before finding two stereotypically effeminate gay men in a café, who are then beaten over the head with baguettes and knocked unconscious. A dwarf mime artist (Peter Dinklage) is captured in a net and then thrown into a cage with the four women, three chefs and the gay couple in a clear parody of animal collectors capturing frightened specimens. The band leap around the cage taunting their captives. As the song draws to an end, the prisoners are released and all dance together in formation in the street. The mime artist escapes and is run over by a speeding Renault 5 car driven by Lüpüs Thünder.
The uncensored version of the video shows the band playing with and eating a brown semi-liquid food, with the implication that it is feces, and a beginning which features them feigning sex in a doggystyle position rather than dancing as in the clean version. The violent capture of the gay couple is also missing from some versions.
The video reached #11 on MuchMusic’s 50 Most Controversial Videos for references to zoophilia, furry fandom, sexual lyrics, insulting French people, gay people and chefs.

En 1995 la discográfica Columbia les extiende un contrato y graban su disco debut “Use Your Fingers”. Es en ésta época cuando el grupo sufre modificaciones en su formación; Daddy Long Legs abandona la banda, y en su lugar entran Evil Jared Hasselhoff, bajista amigo de la universidad de Jimmy Pop, Spanky G, batería que será sustituido por Willie The New Guy, y DJ Q-Ball, primo de Jimmy Pop que llegaría en el segundo disco, “One Fierce Beer Coaster”, este álbum se lanzó un año después, a mediados de 1996, inicialmente sin demasiada repercusión. No obstante, gracias al apoyo de la omnipotente MTV y las radios alternativas, el disco acaba siendo todo un éxito. Más tarde, en 1999 lanzan el disco “Hooray for Boobies”, que se vuelve un éxito mundial incluyendo el número uno "The Bad Touch". Por último, con la ayuda de la discográfica Geffen Records sacan al mercado su último trabajo “Hefty Fine”, en el año 2005.

En marzo de 1995, Bloodhound Gang, formado entonces por Jimmy Pop y Daddy Long Legs, firman un contrato con la discográfica Columbia Records y sacan al mercado “Use Your Fingers”. El disco fue un éxito y comienzan una gira en Estados Unidos, entonces fue cuando Daddy Long Legs, enfadado con la discográfica abandona la banda y se une a otra banda de rap, Wolfpac, pero es sustituido por el bajista Evil Jared Hasselhoff, amigo de Jimmy Pop de la universidad.

En marzo de 1996, la banda graba su segundo álbum, titulado “One Fierce Beer Coaster”, lanzado con la discográfica Cheese Factory Records (ahora Republic Records) y relanzado con la discográfica Geffen Records en 1998. El grupo se embarca en su primera "gira real" por Estados Unidos y Europa. La canción Fire Water Burn, de este mismo álbum, es todo un éxito y se usa en la película Farenheit 9/11.

En 1999, lanzan su tercer álbum, “Hooray for Boobies”. Ayudados por el single, The Bad Touch, en dos giras más por Europa, donde su popularidad se incrementa notablemente (The Bad Touch y “Hooray for Boobies” nº1 en Alemania, al igual que Along Comes Mary, TOP 10 en las listas). Terminan la gira después de vender acerca de cinco millones de copias. Tras esto la banda se toma un periodo de descanso que al final se prolongó más de 5 años, en el cual la banda hizo algunas pequeñas giras, colaboraron en algunos soundtracks como en el de "Silent Bob and Jay Strike Back" con el Tema "Jackass" (originalmente pensado para la serie de TV con el mismo nombre). También en 2003 la banda lanza un DVD titulado One Fierce Beer Run, con las crónicas de la gira One Fierce Beer Coaster, así como de vez en cuando aparecieron en Viva La Bam, show de MTV de su colega Bam Margera.
Justo poco antes de lanzar el disco, Spanky G dejó al grupo, aunque incluso aparece en el booklet y en los créditos del disco. Su reemplazo fue Willie The New guy, el cual incluso aparece en el video del primer single "The Bad Touch".
[editar] Hefty Fine
Después del último disco -lanzado 6 años atrás-, el último álbum de la banda fue lanzado el 27 de septiembre de 2005. Originalmente el título del disco se tenía pensado llamarlo "Heavy Flow", sin embargo Jimmy Pop -líder del grupo- decidió modificar el título ya que así se titula un tema de Moby (del cual Pop ha declarado desagradarle). El primer single, "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo" (en alusión a las iniciales de cada palabra, formando la palabra FUCK) fue todo un éxito, en especial por su video, que presentaba a Bam Margera conduciendo un auto en forma de plátano, al igual que Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss. Este disco -el cual fue el primer disco de Willie The New Guy en los tambores-, causó un poco de impacto menos que sus trabajos anteriores, pero los hizo embarcarse en una nueva y larga gira en la que también hicieron presentaciones en el Rock Am Ring de 2006, donde causó escándalo la "ducha dorada" que Evil Jared le propició a Pop.
En 2006, Willie The New Guy abandona al grupo y en su lugar entra Adam "The Yin", quien actualmente continúa en la banda.
[editar] Futuro del Grupo
Actualmente la banda se encuentra grabando lo que será su siguiente disco de estudio, el cual podría ser editado en 2010 o 2011. Según el grupo, su disquera los estaba apresurando a que lanzaran un nuevo disco pronto, ya que pasaron 6 años después del lanzamiento de Hooray For Boobies y no querían más atrasos por parte del grupo.
El grupo lanzó en la última parte de 2007 el tema "Screwing you On The Beach At Night", el cual fue incluido en el compilado Viva La Bands Vol.2 de Bam Margera. El video es una parodia del video de Chris Isaak "Wicked Game". Probablemente el tema será parte del nuevo disco.
En octubre de 2008, Lüpus Thunder abandonó el grupo. Esto fue confirmado en un boletín del MySpace del grupo. Las razones no fueron especificadas. Su reemplazante es Daniel P. Carter.
En el 2010, Evil Jared anuncio que están trabajando en un nuevo álbum. Recientemente, Jimmy Pop anuncio que tienen 14 canciones nuevas y que el disco se llamara "Getting Laid on a School Bus" y que saldría alrededor del 2011

Los conciertos en vivo de Bloodhound Gang son reconocidos por la cantidad de tonterías que cometen sus miembros a lo largo del show.
Empieza Jimmy Pop quien sube una persona al escenario y le dan de beber 24 latas de soda de la bebida gaseosa Dr. Pepper. Esto es una especie de apuesta a la vez que una gran diversión para todos; el sujeto debe beberse todas las sodas a lo largo del concierto, si va al baño, pierde, si vomita, pierde. Si logra aguantar sin vomitar o ir al baño gana 100 dólares. Hasta ahora nadie ha sido capaz de superar la prueba.
El bajista se dedica a disparar fuego desde la punta de su bajo, también bebe un jarro de cerveza, lo vomita y bebe su vomito. y así siguen todo tipo de locuras, que, en su mayoría, parecen espontáneas.
La parte más impactante llega cuando el vocalista, Jimmy Pop reta al público a ver quien escupe más lejos al bajista. Y es ahí cuando se desata una verdadera lluvia de proyectiles babosos dirigidos hacía Evil Jared Hasselhoff.
